This is a good week to support BfD because your donations will be doubled till December 10th.

Beekeeper’s Cuffs.
Last year, I started making cuffs for beekeepers till my sewing machine went bananas and Christine Smith kindly finished them all off for me. She also recently made these pretty ones above from material donated by Megan Denver. This afternoon, I took 4 pairs to the Nairn post Office to send off to Aberdeenshire in time for Christmas. The good news is that my machine is working perfectly after a full service in Fochabers. So, I can start making more cuffs to keep the bees out of your suit sleeves. You can acquire them by contacting me and paying a donation of, minimum, £5/pair. All sales income will go to Bees for Development.
Great bee-themed material, and beautifully-made cuffs! Also, for a very worthy cause: Bees for Development. Good work!
Thank you, Tom. Yes, Christine made a neat job of these. I’m making more over winter and building up a stock. I’ve got some amazing material coming that looks like the cover of E. O. Wilson’s The Diversity of Life” with delightful coloured bugs on a pale green background.
